If you want to read about the tyranny of the abstract, read the Harper's Letter meant to keep the muzzle on the mouths of oppressed people.
That letter is jam-packed with abstraction because it can't say this very simple fact:
In the last 500 years, Europeans have stolen land, murdered people worldwide. They still have those assets.
What is so vague about this? White people have stuff that belongs to others.
This starts with reparations: pay Black people back. That shifts money so that white neighborhoods are no longer full of free loading white people and are full of actual achieving POCs instead.
There is nothing vague here: the money should move out of the white paycheck and into the Black one, where it belongs.
