Once again, you adamantly refuse to see the point.
The point is that White women have an advantage, and that as long as they frame themselves as the ultimate, constant victims, they are not seeing their MASSIVE blob of White privilege.
Most White women seem to do this subconsciously. You do it overtly.
White women have White privilege: this writer is pointing that out. Also implied if not stated is that the writer is trying to show that WHITE women have advantages NO OTHER WOMEN have, AND that Black women are derogated in particular over all other women because they are Black.
White women MUST learn to deal with their MASSIVE global privilege without constantly channel-shifting to their disadvantages.
That is the point of this article, Lindz, which you clearly (and perhaps deliberately) missed, a performance of White woman privilege I urge you to change. Why would you focus on one sentence when the point of this article is much larger--that White women are privileged? Why do you suppose when your privilege is exposed, you must immediately distract from it and talk about your embattlement?
We're talking about YOUR WHITE PRIVILEGE. Focus on that, because White women who ask men to move their feet off their necks are simply exhibiting hypocrisy when they aren't moving their own off everybody else's, and in particular the place where that foot usually falls, which is Black people.
PLEASE STOP CENTERING YOUR VICTIMIZATION AND FOCUS ON YOUR MASSIVE GLOBAL PRIVILEGE AS A WHITE WOMAN. IT IS HYPOCRITICAL TO TALK ABOUT MEN OPPRESSING WHIITE WOMEN WHEN WHITE WOMEN AREN'T ALSO ACKNOWLEDGING THEIR OPPRESSION OF OTHERS.
