White people assume they are better leaders. Instead, they should be assuming PRIVILEGE. I suggest that all white people consider that their reward came, first and foremost, as a result of privilege. Then, consider merit.

It’s backwards to assume merit in a society saturated with white privilege. Frankly, it’s giving oneself much too much benefit of the doubt.
